Committee Chair:

The Workplace Health & Safety (WS&H) Committee represents and informs CUPE workers on their rights under the Collective Agreement and Federal & Provincial Legislation.

We investigate complaints and incident reports and comply with Manitoba Workplace Safety & Health Act and Regulations as well as the Corporate Workplace Safety & Health rules.

We report to the 998 Executive on all activities and will appoint a Worker Co-Chair when necessary. Also, the CUPE WSH Chair will assist WSH Committees to find CUPE committee representative replacements when required.
