Standing Committees

Constitution & By-Laws

The Constitution Committee currently consists of 4 members and is responsible for the maintenance and updating of both the Constitution and By-Laws.

Although the Committee does not meet on a regular basis, it does meet to review proposed changes, additions or deletions submitted by the membership or Executive. The Committee ensures proposed wording changes are consistent with the rest of the document and do not contradict the National Constitution.

The Committee does not have the authority to outright reject any changes submitted. The general membership has final say on changes to the Constitution, while the Executive has authority to approve all non-monetary articles within the By-Laws.
